These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of khnAI, the app and website operated by DeepMind Systems ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using khnAI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

khnAI is a free personal-finance app for Armenia. It lets you scan receipts and shopping lists, enter transactions and lists by voice, compare live prices across Yerevan supermarket chains, get routed to the cheapest store, share a household budget with others you invite, and track goals, debts and recurring bills. Some features (such as AI-based receipt/list reading, voice transcription and store routing) rely on third-party services and require an internet connection.

2. Eligibility & your account

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use khnAI. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for the activity that happens under your account and within any household you create or join. If you invite others into your household, you are responsible for having their permission to share budget data with them.

3. Acceptable use

When using khnAI, you agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or interfere with the app, its AI/OCR pipeline or its security.
  • Scrape, systematically extract or resell the price and store data made available in the app.
  • Upload receipts, lists or content you do not have the right to share, or that is abusive, fraudulent or harmful.
  • Misuse the voice-entry or AI-scanning features to submit deliberately false or malicious input.
  • Access another household's data without authorization.

4. Content & data accuracy

Store prices, product details and driving-time estimates are collected and derived from third-party and public sources and refreshed on a best-effort basis; we do not guarantee that any price, saving amount or item is accurate, current or available at a given store at any given time. Receipt and list scanning use AI/OCR technology, which can occasionally misread a store name, item, price or date — please review extracted data before relying on it, and correct it if needed.

5. Third-party services

khnAI links out to or relies on third-party services, including Google Maps for navigation and AI/OCR providers for receipt, list and voice processing. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies, which we do not control.

6. Intellectual property

The khnAI app, website, logo and content (excluding data you provide, such as your own receipts and transactions) are owned by DeepMind Systems and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute them without our permission.

7. No warranty

khnAI is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimated saving, price or route will be accurate or achieved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DeepMind Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of data, savings or opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, khnAI. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using khnAI and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms or misuses the service, and we may discontinue or change features of the app with reasonable notice where practicable.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the app evolves. Changes take effect when posted, reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use of khnAI after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing consideration

These Terms are intended to be interpreted fairly and in good faith. Nothing here overrides any consumer-protection rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence, which continue to apply alongside these Terms.
